Grow Into It is a branding and narrative project which looks to address the lack of physical intervention and support available to adults living with eczema. Eczema is primarily considered a “disease of childhood” (Abuabara, 2013) which remits in later life. Hence the phrase ‘you’ll grow out of it’ is offered to young people when suffering physically and mentally in their skin. But that is not always the case…
Grow Into It is an empowering reframe of this narrative. Through organising community events in local areas, this service looks to support you through your eczema journey and offers you a community that will help you grow into your eczema. Wherever you are in your eczema journey, we are here.




The messaging centres around reinforcing that we are always here, no matter how you and your skin are doing - we are here through the whole journey. The wave motif reinforced through the visual language is a representation of this fluid, ongoing journey. Not only can this message me used to connect with our audience on a deeper level, it can also be used to inform them on the locations of our upcoming events.
















Within Grow Into It's service, we also offer a 'try before you apply' scheme.
Eczema is expensive, and it takes a lot of trial and error to work out what products work for you and your skin. Within this scheme we team up with pharmaceutical and skincare companies to offer our audience the opportunity to try samples of products before they purchase them - further allowing them to grow into their skin and learn what works for their own skin.
